I'm trying to fill out the I-864 packet and it includes an I-765 Application for Employment Authorization. However, when i read the I-765 it indicates that:
"If you are a Lawful Permanent Residence, a Conditional Resident, or a nonimmigrant authorized to be employed with a specific employer under 8 CFR 274a.12(b), please DO NOT use this form".
I am on an L-1 visa when i entered the US but resigned recently coz my husband and I moved to another state. Does this mean that i can't file for an application for employment authorization?
Does anybody have the same situation who can help me or who knows if i can or cannot file this?
