I have a few questions regarding E-file for the I-765. I hope that you can help me to the best of your knowledge regarding this issue. Any personal experiences would be appreciated as well. I have recently lost my OPT/EAD card and need to file for a replacement. The OPT I received was valid from 03/03 to 02/04 and was received as a result from my graduation from college. Anyway, these are my questions regarding the E-file process:
1. Is it faster than the regular filing. Is it worth it?
2. How quick and easy is it to obtain an appointment with my Local Service Center. I am located in CT and needed to file in VSC for my original.
3. Does the Replacement OPT actually take as long as 3 months as proclaimed on the site. I cannot seem to understand as to why a replacement would take so long.
4. Is there any way to expediate this process. Paying extra money or providing additional documents for the same.
I will honestly appreciate any kind of assistance that will be provided to me.
