I was wondering what documents and forms I need to file for EAD for my wife who is currently on H4 visa.

Haven't heard from INS yet.

I-485 & EAD

ND: Sep 18, 2002
Haven't heard from INS yet about either EAD or I-485


My wife's I-485 application:

Is it ok to file for my wife's EAD even though my EAD is not yet approved. Will this delay her EAD as well

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

1. I was wondering what will happen in case I loose a job or my I-140 application gets denied and my wife starts working after receiving her EAD.

2. Can she come back to H4 visa if I hold H-1B visa with some other company (in case I loose my job)?

3. Does she need to leave US to get her H4 visa?
