thanks i have a feeling you will be getting your interview soon!, they have yet to transfer our case to Miami and no interview is in sight , and from what i read the processing dates are all off anyway, i think all this depends on the work ethics of the people handling your case, 5 miles from here is palm beach county and they go from I-485 application to green card approval in about 5-6 months total, i live in Ft laudedale not Miami and Miami is a great city of diversity and I love the international flair, we have a new baby he will be 1 year old next month and his family, my wifes family, in cartagena have yet to meet him, they are missing the joy of this time, we have done nothing illegal and followed all the rules yet we feel like we are trapped here. we are positive things will go through and were not asking for any favors, and we are patient, the problem is the system is bias based on socio-economic
boundaries of the district in which you file. areas where imigration reform is needed most , los angeles, nyc and miami areas where more people are filing or feel more comfortable living based on demographics of similar cultures or languages need to be upsized to accomodate that influx, and face it if your not native american your family came off some boat anyway to this country so whos to say who has the right to come and go here, as long as you play by the rules set forth by the constittution and thats what makes america so great is the diversity.good luck my 3 cents.
