I-765 Approval Notice

I had received my EAD card 10 days ago. The INS site which used to show "new card has been ordered etc..." now says your approval notice has been mailed. My question is, is there a separate i765 approval notice in addition to the EAD card? Please clarify if any of you know about it.

Hmmm. I think you receive the EAD card like they issue a new credit card. I dont think there is any separate approval notice.(I think). What is the purpose of such notice? Service center practice might vary.
 
No approval notice

Jaxen i guess is right. The EAD card comes in just like a Credit card. I didnt get any notice with my EAD last year but the practice might have changed. This is in VSC.
