I-765 and I-485 question

I'm in the US on a F1 student visa. I applied for an EAD card before and I got approved but the card got lost in the mail. I married a US citizen in June. We are in the process if filing to get my status changed. I fall under the c 9 category. Since I'm filing concurrently with i-485 and I-130 I don't need to pay for I-765 but I'm filing for a Replacement EAD and the instructions say "If you are requesting a replacement EAD under the c 9 category the full filing fee will be required however no biometrics fee is required" but it also says "if you filed form I-485 as of July 30, 2007 no fee is required to also file Form I-765."
So that means I only have to pay $985 for filing I-485 instead of paying $1070 with the biometrics fee included, right?

Please help.
 
If your original EAD was based on OPT, this EAD based on AOS will be considered a new one, not a replacement. You'll have to pay the full $1070 for AOS, regardless of what happens with your EAD. The biometrics fee is not related to your EAD, it's for your AOS.
 
What I mean is in the other forms I should still put my Alien number since it's been assigned to me anyway, correct?

Your alien number for OPT is different from that for green card. Take it from me, I know it. I was also F1=>H1=>Green Card

hey guys i am filling for I 485 along with I 765 and I 130 ( g 325 A for both husband and wife ) i was on F1 Visa and it expired 5 months back including my wht all documents do i need to submit with I 485 form my wife is a USC . please help me and how much does it cost ( as per my knowledge i have to write 2 separate checks $ 1070 and $ 420 ) is it correct please help me guys
