Is filing I-751, 80 days before conditional GC expires ok? Or does it have to be strictly 90 days.
Another question...?
Do you have to do the Biometrics again...and also wait for the horrendous namcheck again for the " removal of condition".
just wondering because it seems a lot of people are stuck for a long time for their removal of condition and therefore was wondering what was causing the delays...

P.S - Its been a long time coming back....Its nice to see that people (esp Ari..) have continued to use/update/maintain the EAD tracker thread which was a brainchild of mine
Anyways..lets see how things go and maybe I'll start the I-751 tracker as well with help from you'll.

I also thought the I-751 " is relevant to life after the green card " forum. Let me know if you think otherwise.

Here is the actual text from the application form with the relevant portion in red:

When Should I File the Petition?

1. Filing jointly.
If you are filing this petition jointly with your spouse, you must file it during the 90 days immediately before the second anniversary of the date you were accorded conditional resident status. This is the date your conditional residence expires.

So it is okay to file the petition 80 days before the conditional status expires.

I also think I-751 is relevant to Life after Greencard. Many people have questions about procedures on removal of PR conditions. It would be great if a sticky thread is created for this topic.
