I-751 waiting since Dec 2007

:mad:Dear all fellows. you all right, think about me! I am waiting for my appliaction since from december 2007 and have no response from uscis. i called them lots of time every time they give me 45 days to wait, but no result after that time now recenty they told me to wait 6 months, as they are investegating on my case/marriage?......................
i am very upset with all this . can any one give me advice or having same experience plz share.

What'll probably happen is that you'll be called for your N-400 interview before your I-751 situation is resolved. At the N-400 interview, the IO will adjudicate your I-751 first and then he or she will proceed with your citizenship interview. You'll be called to an N-400 interview probably within the next 50 days, so hang in there.

If they are investigating then it maybe called for an interview or RFE.

one year and more for a joint petition is strange, especially with CSC. You may actually get one interview for citizenship and I 751.

thanks kayaam, Lets see what will they do?

any one can tell me if they ask me more avidance then wat kind of proof i should show them i have already send them lots of joint bills, etc
any suggestions plz tell.............................................

Lease/mortgage documents.
Joint bank account statements.
Insurance policies showing one being the beneficiary of the other's policy.
Health/dental plans showing conjugal cohabitation.
Etc.

It depends on the RFE which maybe very standard most people get -- asking you to resubmit everything, or it maybe specific. give them what they ask for, if you cant, explain your situation and give them something equivalent or extra.

Thanks Khayyam, I have already send them almost proof/docoments,
like,
joint bank account statment
joint house lease agrement
joint tenent house insurance
auto insurance both of our name on that ( i am secound driver on her insurance)
my life insurance policy my wife and my mother benifisery
utility bills joint name on them
AFFIDAVIT / STATEMENT from family friends about our marriage life,
:o only problem is that we have age difference, my wife is 21 years older
then me [/COLOR]
I think becuse of age diffrence immigaration is taking more time to make decision on my case. IF any one think is this true then plz advise me wat should i do more to show them that our marriage is not fraud.

An affidavit from your wife attesting your good faith marriage.
 
Since you indicated that there is a big age difference between you and your wife's age, naturally the USCIS folks are considering it a sham marriage (remember they work like sniffer dogs). If its an interracial marriage, it lifts more eye brows. In your case, I would recommend getting hold of pictures (marriage or if there was a reception and vacation) all kinds of pictures, lots of pictures, you two together and with family pictures. In my case, I attached two 4X6 pictures per blank sheet of paper and wrote underneath exactly when and where they were taken. We even took pictures next to important landmarks. Send as many as you can send. Make sure you over whelm them with information.
 
yea a huge age difference for an interracial marriage "maybe" a red flag IF not corroborated with other evidence.

Thanks jzee and khayaam. i have lots of pictures with my wife. i am waiting for my n-400 interview call as i have applied back in december 2008.
