I-751 Remove Conditions on GC - support doc

I am newbie in this forum and I have been reading past messages to get more information. However, I still have some worry on my application to file the I-751. I really appreciate if anyone can share their experience. :)

I was in H1B status (Originally F1 change to H1) and then I married my US citizen husband in May 2004. I got my conditional green card in May 2005 (will expire on May 4, 2007). We have a baby together (born: June 2006). We plan to file the I-751 (Petition to Remove Conditionals on Residence) jointly ourselves. I would like to get more advice on what's the next steps after I send in my supporting document. We have been living together in my husband's house in California since our marriage.

I have the following supporting documents, would anyone advice is it sufficient or what else I need to provide? I want to minimize the chance to get an interview and delay on getting the permanent green card.

- copy of our baby's birth certificate
- life insurance of my husband, beneficiary is me -> insurance plan started Oct 2004
- copy of join federal and state tax returns for 2004 & 2005
- current auto insurance together (same address) -> can't find the 2004-2005's copy, is it ok?
- wedding invitation card
- join bank account statement (if i just provide a bank statement for period Oct-Nov 2006, is it ok? Or do I need to send in a lot of bank statements for different years? We didn't really keep all the paper statements. Do I need to call the bank to send us a letter or something to proof that we have a bank account together from 2004 till present?)
- family photo xmas card for 2006 (with husband, me, and baby's photo on it)
- copy of actual credit cards with the same number -> join credit card a/c
- copy of actual health insurance and dental insurance cards with the same plan number on the cards (2005 & 2006)
- 2 xmas cards sent to us from friends to our mailing address (2006)
- 2 affidavits from my friend saying that they knows us as a couple etc (is it better also find my husband's friend to write a affidavit too? Does that affidavits need to be notarized or so?)
- going to print out some of our (husband & me) photo when we were in trips for 2003-2007 period (but I can't seems to find any iternary, only have photos that we took in other US states and Canada)

-> I heard people mention to provide their photos taken at home or so? Does that means it's better to provide photo that we took at home instead of other trips' photo? I don't usually take "together" photo at home and usually only take photo in trips or events. Also, is it ok for me to send in a CD or DVD with photo and video clips? I have all of my photos in digital form. II don't know how much photo I need to get them print out. I am wondering do I need to print out so many photos or if I create a CD/DVD with our photos in it is fine? Can the USCIS office read CD or DVD files?

My husband bought a house alone before we got marry so the house title only has his name. All the utility bills are under his name (we thought there's no reason to add my name to all the existing utility bills). So, we do not have any join property or lease. Do I need to write a letter to explain this situation?

Do you think the above documents are sufficent? In California, usually what's the process time and step after I sent in the i-751 form? I read some older posts somewhere saying CA is faster? My conditional GC expire on May 4, 2007 but we were planning to go on an international trip for about 1 month in April-May. Do I need to mention anything in the i-751 form regarding our planned travel?

Usually how long do people usually receive a receipt (that INS receive the I-751 form, is that call the NOA?) and I may need to go to a local office to get an extend stamp on my passport so I can travel? Anyone with experience with California Service Center lately?

Sorry for the long post but I really appreciate your help and advice!!! Thanks a lot in advance!

P.S. Is it really necessary for us to hire an imigrantion service person/lawer to get us gather this info?

In my honest opinion, you have enough documentation and proof of a bonafide marriage. The kid is worth his/her weight in gold as far as an I-751 is concerned.
