I 751 New Thread (October 2008 shear experience and approval)

Did not used attorney

i did not used attorney, cos when i send my documents to him. he requested for money i can not afford, so i asked him to returned my documents and he did, so i had to mail it myself. Beliving that God will see me through.
 
sorry I am naive in this but we send this after we get conditional GC and before 6 months of its expiration, right? If this approves, one will get 10 year GC.

After getting this 10 year GC, we can file after 1 year for citizenship or have to wait 3 years before applying for citizenship.
 
No, file I751 three months before conditional GC expired,

upon 2 year 9 months receipt of conditional GC, you can file N-400 for citizenship.

1 year 9 month of Conditional GC, Don't we have to file for 10 year GC? Is N-400 and 10 years GC same?
 
I-751 should be filed 3 months before conditional GC expired. Then you will get 10 year GC.

N-400 should be filed after you receive your conditional GC 2 year and 9 months, it's for citizenship.

ok, theoretically, I could file my N-400 while still waiting for the 10 yr GC? 2yr 9 months will be September for me.
