Mine has been transferred to CSC. I dont know if thats good or if just doesnt matter.
 
Well, so far it has been moving along pretty fast. I just reveived my bio appointment, so I cant complain. We`ll see how fast (slow) it moves after that.
 
I received my notice for biometrics today, but I still have not received the NOA with 1 year green card extension. Is this normal?

I think its not unusual, I have heard a lot of people are waiting on that for a while. Maybe you can just wait a couple more weeks and then contact uscis or Infopass to get the 1year extension.

I will wait till the end of next week and if I don't receive anything I will call to see if they can send me another copy.
 
MaqOuzo, we got the same date for biometrics. It will be interesting to see how it goes from there.

I-485, 130, 131, 765, 864, G325 sent on March 25
RD: March 28, 2008
ND: April 2, 2008
Notice Received: April 6, 2008
FP Appointment: April 25, 2008.


I have a question for you guys. I am planning on traveling to India in May. I am pretty sure I will not have my EAD and AP before that. Is it safe to leave the country and reenter using my stamped H1B?

Please advice.

I went for my biometrics today! It was here in Atlanta, GA. Suprisingly, the whole thing took no more than 30 minutes. Really pleasant experience!!

My guess (based on analysis of past performance of CSC) is that we'll get the new GC sometime this summer... It would be nice to have it in hand for my travels this summer, albeit the ext letter should work...
 
LUD means last updates right?
Because mine still says the date when I send it in, does that mean they havnt even looked at it?
 
No, but now I am concerned, should it have changed?
I do use the number from the bio appointment letter, right?
 
I called fbi and asked and they said they sent it back the same day, but it is 2 months back logged. I asked them why some get it and others dont, but they said its just luck and that it doesnt mean anything.
What is actually left after it went to fbi, I understand that an officer reviews it, but is that all or are there other checks? Because otherwise it really shouldnt take that long...?
 
I am planning to travel outside the us in summer, do I need to get my passport stamped or is the extension letter enough?

From reading this forum, and the USCIS website, what you need is:
  • Unexpired Passport
  • Expired Green Card
  • Extension Letter

I also confirmed that with my company's immigration attorney. So that's what I'll be bringing when I go abroad this summer...

I just wish I got an lud too. I feel like its stuck somewhere and I am gonna wait a year, oh well, at least its summer.
