I-89 what is this ???? I know about I-751, I-551
Sorry My English is not good because I only stayed at USA 5 years.
In 2003 I sent I-751 form at CA office, and I went to INS honolulu office for changed address. (I fiiled out changed address form and asked to the cleark [do I need to send this form for someone else?] the cleark told me that I do not need to. and couple days later I was concerned so I went to INS honolulu office again because I want to make sure my address had been changed. but my address was not changed at all. I did tell them again and I filled out the changed address form.
In 2005 April.I still did not get anything from USCIS at all. I went to USCIS honolulu office again. They still had my old address again. I told my current address again. and sent my changed adress form to the Main land too.
In 2005 Oct. I had to go to LA to meet my family. During that time my temporary stamp expired so, I went to USCIS California office to get an extend stamp but they gave me only couple days extend date only. and asked if my address was correct? they had a my old address again. I told them that correct address. They told me that I have to go to USCIS honolulu office when I get back to Honolulu. SO I went to USCIS honolulu office when I got back in Honolulu. they gave me 18months extend I-551 temporary stamps.
In 2005 Nov. I went to web site and checked my case status, I put in the Wac#..... but the number was not found it.
In 2005 Nov. ICE came to my home and I got arrested because I did not show up for my court date. but I never recieved notice action from USCIS or any government organaisations.
During arrested the ICE knew that this is not my fault.
So ICE people were so nice to me and tried to help me out with my husband.
I had to stay at a detaintion center.
I did not do anything wrong.
I hired lawyer and I spent $4000 (Lawer fee)for this case for re-open.
Re-open fee was $385.00 (INS fee)
I got out from detaintion center next afternoon.
3 times I went to court for meet judge.
after that I had to go to get my fingerprint(all 10 fingers). I had to pay $70 for the fingerprints. Finally I the judge granded my case and I got a temporary stamps on my passport but only for 6 months.
Normally they gave me a stamp was 18months.
but my case was IJ case (immigration Judge case) only gave me a stamp 6 months.
I thought my case was I-751 (I-551) or re-open my case. ?????
Why IJ CASE?????
They did not give me any answer the question.
I brought my 2 passport sizes pictures, but INS officer told me that these pictures not need. she told me that I just needed to get Biometrics ,index fingerprint and signature. and asked her about why did not exist my Wac # ?
She told me that this number was no longer to use for my case.
The lawer told me that my green card will be arrive in 2 weeks to 1 month
So I waited 6 weeks.
But I did not recieved anything at all.
I made appointment with USCIS by infopass.
They told me that they could not find out my case status.
and also my physical documents. they told me that my documents were there in the honolulu office. but they could not find out.
I have to requested to my document for investigation.
I fiiled out a request form on that day.
2 days later, I got a letter from USCIS.
I have to make an appointment and bring 2 passport sizes pictures and notice letter and judges notice letter. their reason was I-89 prosessing and I-751 was approved by Immigration judge. (the letter told me that Wac #....)
but this Wac # was no longer use. Why All of the sudden exist again.
I checked web site for this number was still not found.
What is going on? my case.
I spent valuavable time and much money.
I-89, I never apply to this form at all.
I just did I-751 and I am waiting I-551 process completed and get new green card.
At the USCIS counter's clerk was not educated enogh!!
Also Immigration officer did not know a lot of things.
