We filed our I-751 in Nov 06 @Vermont. Received the receipt - 1 yr extension - and completed biometric appt in January.
We are in NY and my wife is getting job in TX. We are thinking of moving and want to understand the impact of I-751 case transfer.
Any experiences with case transfers from Vermont to Texas or other center will be helpful. Also
1) Do I need to re-submit all the documents as well as biometrics again?
2) Does the time of receipt reset i.e. right now my file was received by uscis in Nov 06 @vermont. If we transfer in June, will my new file receipt date for Texas be Jun07 -- meaning another 6-10 months before anything happens?
I'm sick and tired of waiting. i heard that centers are burried with h-1b applications and its delaying rest of the categories.
