I-751 Case status online: your opinion.

Hello Filers,

I filed my 751 one month ago, have biometrics taken and received the
NOA letter.

In order to register for the CIS case status online, you
need to agree to a lot of terms and conditions;

I wonder if this registration is worthed or not..

Have any of you subscribed for the USCIS case status
online? Would you recommend it?

Pls share your opinion.

Everybody does... and like with most software EULAs (End User License Agreements). You just click "OK" or "Agree".

You are worrying too much... I mean, you are using a computer right? windows? internet explorer? all of those have contracts that are 900 pages long and you agreed and pretty much sold your soul to Bill Gates... so, USCIS online tracking agreement should be the least of your concerns. :cool:

ps: Buy a mac ;) and YES, sign up for online tracking.

I know, all these conditions are a little scary. Because you think they can track you down. But when you think about it, they have all your info in the forms, so they already can.

I subscribed because that's the only way to know that at least they "touched" your forms. By that I mean if you just manually enter your case number(s) on the site, the message may always be the same and you think they haven't looked at your form, but if you sign up, you will see that the message may be the same, but the LUD changed, which means they touched it.

A good example is that after my FP, my case status for I-765 stayed the same "received and pending" since august. But when I signed up in october I was able to see that even though the message stayed the same "received and pending" 1 day after my FP I got an LUD, which I guess had to do with their receipt of the FPs.

I just registered for the online case and noticed
the LUD has changed form the previous date,

I guess they received the biometrics..

Hi, What is NOA. Also i filed for removal of conditions on Nov 15th at nebraska center. But i have not received any notice/reciept from USCIS about my case. I am travelling to my country on 15th dec and coming back on 10th jan. My conditional green card expires on Jan 11/08. Can you tell me what documents i need for re-entry into US. As i have only 1 week left for my travel, what should i do? I will appreciate your response.
