I-751 Biometrics Done - Why does it still say case number invalid?

Hi Forumers,

I filed for removal of I-751 conditions in June. It took CSC three months to get me a biometrics appointment, and this was after we called them twice to find out what the delay was?

Anyway, I did the biometrics in California (Van Nuys) on 9/30/2008 but 24 hours later the case status online says case status is still invalid. I thought after the biometrics the case status online should be activated?

I heard it is taking about 5 months from when biometrics are done for CSC to approve the GC. Anyone have any experience with this?

Not sure if this will clarify your problem, but I had my oath ceremony 2 weeks ago and the case status still shows "pending as of 3/25/08." I would say that the USCIS online case status system sucks big time.
