Ok so my wife got visa thru marriage 2 years ago, we sent petition to remove conditions on residence 90 days before GC expires as requested, received letter stating that 1 year has been aproved, and biometrics were taken after that.

Drivers license is now expired as it expired same day GC did, reason we let it expire is because we were under the impression that she would recive her new GC within those 90 days.
In any case now that has been aproved for another year can she renew drivers license with that letter as proof to DMV?
This is in state of VA. by the way.
