Guys,

Need some advise on this matter. I filed for an I-730 for my wife and 2 kids last year in April 2005. In Dec 2005 I received a request for RFI which I submitted in Jan 2006. Yesterday I received an approval notice but for only 1 child not for my spouse or my other child although all of them were submitted together intially and the RFI was also sent together.

Also the approval I received for my 1 child it also has an I-94 attached to it is that something new.

What is the next step for me should I wait for a another week to see if my spouse and other child gets approved or should I call them on Monday.

Also what should I do with this approval for my child as they are already in the US. Do I need to go to the USCIS office to get a I-94 or get her NP stamped.

Please advice

Thanks

Ed

Eddie:

For what I have read in this forum I could say that every case you submit was assigned to a different officer. So, I suggest waiting for a couple of weeks and seeing what happen. Good Luck.

Dear Bro:

Maybe they are waiting for your wife's name checking, as well for another kid.

Every case is treated on individual basis. They might go in different sequences depending each officers workload.
My wife's I-730 was approved but my for my son i was asked more evidences to prove that his mother is actually by wife. Now remember it is the same mother who has already been approved as my wife(because her case was approved 1 month before i got the letter). When i called i was told each case is treated different . My wife's file's paper can't be used to prove relationship for my son's mother.

Thanks for the reply. What should I do with the approval notice I have do I need to go to BCIS office and get an I-94 and get her NP stamped and go to the SSA for unrestricted card.

I am confused buddy. You said in your original post that the child already received an I-94 along with his/her approval notice. So why are you now asking if you should go to the USCIS to get another I-94 for her?????

Yes you should take him/her to the SSA for an unrestricted social security card.

The I-94 that I received it was attached to the approval notice. But its not a white color card not stamped in red saying asylee.

Although it says I-94 its something new that is why I was asking.
