In searching for information on I-693, Immigration physical, I noticed that one is required to have chicken pox vaccination, unless he/she had chicken pox already.

I do not know much about this disease. So, is it not possible to have chicken pox more than once? If yes, why vaccine is not required?

Also, does having chicken pox at some time in the past disqualify an applicant from getting green card?

It's not possible to have it more than once. But if you don't get it as a child, it is considerably nastier as an adult. Get the vaccine.

Not at all. 99.9% of the US population has had it.
