I 551(GC) stamping using courtesy copy?????

Hi everyone

Can I get the I-551 stamped on my passport by using the courtesy copy which was sent to me instead of waiting for the original copy which was sent to my attorney's OLD address. I am afraid it may not get forwarded to the new address.

Yes, You can use courtesy copy for PP stamping. Me and my family PPs stampled today (12/18) using courtesy copy.

Hi GCWIn

Thanks buddy. BTW where did you get it stamped? I have to get it stamped at Omaha, NE and it's 500 miles from the place where I am living so I am bit worried.

Any comment on this.

Manya,

Just curious...where do you live ? In the Black Hills of South Dakota by any chance ?

Good Luck with your stamping !:D

No Brother

I live in Sidney, NE. Thanks and expecting an answer from GCWIN for my recent reply.

Manya,
I got it stamped in Detroit, MI.
The following are required for stamping:
1. 2 photographs as shown on the approval notice.
2. I-94/EAD/AP
3. Passport
4. Approval Notice
No questions asked.
Waiting time was around 2.5 hours.
Stamping took only 5 minutes.

All the best.
