My employer fied I140 & I485 but did not file EAD in July'07. I got my I140 approved. Can i apply for my EAD now? If i apply now for EAD can my or will my company withdraw the application form?

Can i apply for my EAD all by myself without my employers help.

Generally how long will it take for I-485 & EAD applications to be processed. My centre is texas service centre.
 
You can apply for EAD yourself. All you need is copies of I-485 and I-140 receipt notices. If you have I-140 approved, better still send the approval notice.

Your employer can withdraw I-140 anytime he fancies. It has no relationship with your filing for EAD. EAD should normaly be processed in 90 days. I-485? Well you need to pray that its approved in this lifetime

Dont mean to depress you but Jan 2008 VB is very depressing.

Dude, don't have to send I-140 copy, just read the additional documents requirement in the EAD form itself and send only those. I did the same and got my EAD as well.
