Hi Friends,
My company processing my GC upto I-140 clearence.Affter that they are not ready to pay the money.They said total amount is $6000/- for GC whole process.But they paid $3000/- and the remaining amount i am going to pay that our lawyer.
I have my I-140 and DOL cerificate approval notice xerox.
My questios is without lawyer can i appy for I-485 or not?.If so what i need to do for that?.

Without lawyers you are better off if your case is not too complicated. You can always hire a lawyer later if run into trouble. 485 is not a difficult process as long as you know how to do it. Get a document list download forms from internet (or ask IRS to mail you).

you can apply your 485 on your own, but you need the original approval of your LC and I140 notices.
