I - 485... Where to Apply?

Hi,

I live in Chicago. I applied my I-140 to NSC as it is closer to me but it got transferred to TSC. After that, TSC approved. As my date is current, I am filing the I-485 Application now. Can someone let me know where to appply? I am confused on whether it should be sent to Texas Service Center or Nebraska Service Center.

Do we need to apply I-485 at the Service center where your I-140 is approved?

Read your approval notice from TSC carefully. It clearly says send your I-485 to THIS service center. I had same issue as I live in Virginia and filed my I-140 in NSC got approved from TSC so filed my I-485 to TSC. ANother advantage TSC is fast and has better approval rate than any other center in US. You are lucky.
