I started my Green Card process in 1998. Filed I-485 in Nov. 2001. This is a case of future employment for a company in VA.
My case was transferred to Chicago local office and during the interview last week officer asked me for all the W-2s from entry into US thru today.(1996 - 2003)
My Visa status in 1998 was H-1B thru a company in Chicago. I worked for a couple of months and then took Leave Of Absense because of being pregnant and then after child birth just could not join. In I-485 the attorney shows me working from May 1998 thru Sept. 2000 for this H-1B sponsor. Now INS wants all W2 from entry into US thru today. But I have no W2 for over 2 years (1998 thru 2000)
What all options do we have ? Can we file 485 amendment after the interview?
Also, if main petitioner qualifies for 245i can she file it under this amendment.
