I just checked the stauts of my application online and said that as of July 6, 2004 my application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status was transferred to theirr office in Newark and Teterboro for them to schedule an interview. Also, I am still with the employer who petitioned me.

1. How long do I have have to wait before I get a schedule for an interview.
2. What are some of the papers that I need to bring.
3. Any experiences with these locations?
4. Should I bring my employer and lawyer with me to the interview?
5. Any situations that an interview is waived?
6. WIll I get an appointment for fingerprinting first BEFORE the interview?

LC - approved 12/2002
1st EAD - May, 2003
I-140 - approved 1/2004
2nd EAD - May, 2004
I-485 - pending

Thanks,

MR

----- may be 2 to 4 months from transfer date, if you did first fingerprints 15 months back they will send you second FP notice also
2. What are some of the papers that I need to bring.
---- employer letter, tax papers, bith certificate, marriage certificate I-94, passport, EAD, past 3 years W-2 recent 2-4 paystubs
3. Any experiences with these locations?
4. Should I bring my employer and lawyer with me to the interview?
----- why? it is simple case
5. Any situations that an interview is waived?
---- NO , becase it is sent for Interview, no need to worry they just check all orignal documents( make copies they keep the copy and see the orignal) they will just ask if any arrest record and will read the questions that you replied on I-485 for, and it takes only 20-25 minutes
6. WIll I get an appointment for fingerprinting first BEFORE the interview?
