I-485 Transferred to New Oleans

Case Transfered to Atlanta
I filed I-485 in 03/00 and my case was just transferredd to Atlanta.
The weird thing is I live in Florida. I called the INS national info center and a lady asked me if I knew my file wastransferreded for fast process. Then she told me that the waiting time in Atlanta is approximitily 24 months from the date of filing and that meant I had to wait for another 6 months of waiting. Sounds like TSC is trying to transfer some cases to local centers to reduce its owwork load.ad.
Please update your status so we will know how fast the locals are handling the cases.

My case is EB3, PD 01/99. But I\'ve heard PD as early as 97 been transfered to District office too. To me, it more looks like transferring is for EB3 cases filed in 03/00 time frame. What is your PD and EB category, QL66 and TSC2000?
My attorney said the answer she got from IIO was "I do not know why the case was transfered".
A scaring rummor I heard is that cases transfered to local Dictrict office are usually troublesome cases. I am hoping it is not true.

My case is EB2, RIR with PD of 11/99. I filed I-485 without physical exam because the PD would be set back a lot in April 2000. My lawyer told us to file without physical exam while the PD was current. My family members cases were transferred too. Our finger prints were done in 06/00. Is New Orleans your local office?
