I-485 Transferred to local office - HELP

2) If your case is NOT transfered to the local office, will an interview be conducted before I-485 is processed/approved?

hi gino... wene i went to the interview on 12/09/2004 at 9:00 am , i arrived at 8:00 am ,gave my letter to immigration officer then he told me to set down and wait tel they call me ,at 9:30 am the officer came and took me to her office inside before that she took me to small area to take my one fingerprint and my signture in form i-89 to issue the real green card (the plastic) , i went inside her room and she asked me to rasie my right hand to do the oath and she asked too for my IDs to make a cope and make sure thats was me ,she start it asking me samething in the that form i-485 application for the green card and if iam still scared to go back home and my answer was yes for sure and i told her thats why i couldent renew my passport , she told me to go to get for her 4 new photos cuz they changed the old law by having you to take you new photos same as passport photos and i did then i gave it to her and she told me the next step is send you file and case back to nebraska to get the get the final approval and new visa number...since the date of interview (12/09/2004) until 02/08/2005 i recevied the approval and went to local office to get my passport stamp (1-94) and recevied the new card the plastic on 05/14/2005 after i recevied the welcome letter on 05/06/2005 with new LIN number ......good luck
 
sidman, thanks a lot. This helps a lot. So, it seems that will take a few more monthgs before they approve my case! Did you get an RFE?

Let's hope this is a good news. They may be sending more cases to local office for fast approvals. Did you get an RFE?
