I have received I - 797(Notice of Action) stating that my case has been transferred to Dallas office. How long does it take to get an interview?.

Thanks

Hey RAMBUS....

I am somewhat confused. You posted a message on Feb 23rd that states:
"My I- 485 was approved on Feb 17 th, received an approval letter on Feb 21 st."

Did they transfer your wife's case?

Thanks.

So you are the Wife?

Your postings are pretty confusing, but I think I understand now.

Ok. you (wife/secondary) have not been approved. This is AMAZING.... How can they send you an interview appointment if :

1.- You are not the primary applicant.
2.- The primary applicant has already been approved; and
3.- you have already exceeded the 1000 days.

Is your husband required to appear at the interview?

This is scary to me, specially because I am a secondary applicant not approved.

elmerazz,

It is possible for TSC to send an interview notice to the dependent.

In our case, each of us received a separate interview notice letter (for the same date and time though). Infact, my interview notice letter was actually sent to an old address (while my wife's was sent to the new address .. no idea how they just updated one address and not the other) and I was lucky that the post office forwarded it to my new address.
