Our case got transferred to local office in Charlotte, NC, and we have an interview "regarding eligibility" in end of May 05.

a. Is this transfer common, what does "to determine eligibility" mean?
b. My husband is working for a new employer "B" now, and old employer "A" sponsored his G.C.case. They have asked us to bring employment letter.
Should we take the current employment letter or the old one, or both of them ?
c. Is it necessary to take a letter from the old employer "A" stating that after G.C. is approved, my husband will take up employment with "A" ?
d. Anybody here have experience in Charlotte office?
Please help...

-- This is common these days. My I-485 was also transfered and was approved at the interview, but no PP Stamping coz of EB3 retrogression.
"to determine eligibility" -- is a comman term used. Basically they transfer your case, if they pick up your file at TSC and did not have all the info to approve they transfer it to local office for them to continue.
Like in my case the name check was not cleared so they did not wait till it is cleared, rather they transfered it to Charlotte. I learnt this when I went to Charlotte office to enquire the status.
The officer then sent a reminder to FBI and immediately in 2 weeks I got the interview letter.

In your case they might have seen the change in employer so they want to double check if your husband is actually working or not.
Take:
Pay stubs
Taxes
W-2's
Affidavit of Support I-864
Employment Verification Letter

b. My husband is working for a new employer "B" now, and old employer "A" sponsored his G.C.case. They have asked us to bring employment letter.

-- Just take the current Employers Letter.
c. Is it necessary to take a letter from the old employer "A" stating that after G.C. is approved, my husband will take up employment with "A" ?
-- No. Not necessary.
