I-485 Transfer to regional INS office

AVM says my case has been transferred to Atlanta, GA INS office and
this office is going to send a written decision.

I would like to know, for what reasons usually 485 cases be transferred
to regional INS offices. My case details are as follows:
PD: 12/13/99
RD: 2/21/01
ND: 3/22/01
What is this supposed to me? Pl answer
 
Did you get married just before you applied for 485 ??

There was a discussion some time ago about this...
 And it seems they send all cases to local INS for
 this reason too....
 I heard my case got transfered to local office (Detroit)
 Got the message on AVM yesterday....

 R.D.: 03/01
 N.d.: 03/01
 F.P.: 12/01
 A.P.: When?? when ?? when???
 
I-485 transfer

My 485 and that of my wife was also transfered to Atlanta office from NSC. The AVM says a written decision will be mailed. Not sure why this happened. I work in Atlanta but my employer is in Michigan.
I got married 3 months before filing 485. gc_sri, can you share any further info at this time. thanks
 
Transfer notices.

I received my transfer notice by mail but not my wife\'s.
I called and spoke to IIO and he said that since my
wife\'s case is attached to mine, it will automatically get transfered.

 FYI: I got two months before I applied my I-485

checked AVM message yesterday... How long it will take to get the written message from Local INS office?
what could be the reasons to transferred to local INS?

Same Here

We got married 2 and half months before we filed I485. My case approved but spouse transferred to INS Chicago on Feb 20, 2002.
RD 10/00; ND 11/00; TD 02/20/2002
Transfer Notice not received. But lawyer received it.

my case has been transferred to cincinnati local office.
Any idea how long does it take?
