Hey guys,
I have a question or two here. it is about time to file the I-485 but and I have consulted two lawyers and they give two different answers on the same question so i am asking it here just in case anyone has had that experience. Here goes:
1. Can you file the I-485 without the I-693 (Medical Forms) and then send them later?
2. If you can, Like one lawyer told me, What would be the receipt date, the initial date or the date that you finally send everything in (the I-693 form)?
3. Is it true that filing without the I-693 will cause considerable delay on processing the application? About how long?

When I applied for my I-485 i didn't submit the I-693. Only once it was requested by DHS it went ahead and did the medical.

As for date it will be the initial date if I am not mistaken.

It is better if you send all the documents together. It will reduce the processing time. RFEs increase the processing time.
