I-485 Texas ifs the wait really 2+ years

Compared to the California Service Center (currently approving Dec 2004) the wait for the Texas Serivce Center seems long (Currently working on April 2003). Is the wait really this long? Can anyone out there let me know? Has anyone gotten their I-485 approved faster than this?

Did not get a receipt for my I-140 is this normal

I did not receive a receipt number for my I-140, is this normal I filed concurrently.

Employment Authorization Received March 24 last updated April 08, 2005
Fingerprint on April 21
I 485 received March 24, 2005 and last updated April 22 (after fingerprinting)
I 131 Advance Parol Received April 13, adn Updated on April 15, May 9 and May 10 but still don't know either way.
