I-485 submission with arrest record....HELP!

Hi,

If there is an arrest record, what documents shoud I provide when I submit the I485 form other than a page to explain the arrest?

And any advice on how I should explain the arrest?

I've heard that I need to get the Court dispostion letter, Police Record and Court record to the interview but do I need to provide any of the above with the I-485 application?

You need send the copy of court disposition, and it will not affect your 485 application at all if the result is no more than half of year jail. I have friend have the same situation, and she got it without trouble.

But you may ask for interview, but this is just a process, you will pass it for sure.

I read somewhere that even if court dismisses, the CIS

would still take that into consideration and delay the adjudication for long or deny it, depending on of course how & why your were arrested, I guess...
Don't know how it works for one who has already submitted the 485 and gets arrested though..you may ask for the interview, thought that was not your choice but on the CIS side and they do it definitely
