I-485 Still Not Approved

- 485 file date July'2003.
- EAD approved Feb'2004 and renewed again for validity till Feb'2006
- I-140 approval in May'2004
- Did finger printing in Sep'2004

Still not received approval for 485, though the current processing date is Jan'2004. My colleagues who were in the same boat got their 485 approved. Any thoughts on why this is still pending?

Still no response from BCIS on my case. My laweys are going to involve a AILA liasion. Anyone gone through similar experiences?

Message still says FP was recived on March 2003.

I got the follwoing response from AILA,


"The processing of your petition/application has been delayed. All petitions/applications received by this Service are required to have routine security checks that are resulting in delays of the adjudication of petitions/applications. We can give no definite indication of when they will be completed. We apologize for the delay."
