I-485 Stage: Change of Address Questions

Hello,

My spouse and myself are in the I-485 stage. We just recieved our 2nd FP notices and also have pending EAD and AP applications.

We want to move our apartments:

Questions:

1) Can we go to an INS service center (INS - SFO) and have our addresses changed over there?

2) Or is it enough to just send AR-11.

3) Can we call the INS phone number and have them change our address over the phone?

4) Would you advise us to move now?

Last week when I got my EAD from NYC district office, I also checked status of my I 485. While waiting in the line for that heard people talking about this, on the counter INS officer gave me a piece of paper to fill out which holds sections A# old and new address and signature. Simply fill out and drop that form IT IS NOT AR 11!!!!
Then send the printed (if possible make a printer printout) AR 11 to Kentucky. As I 've read in a source AR 11 and Kentucky has nothing to do with your pending application unless you attach a request letter that indicates you have a pending application somewhere. So you have two options:

1 - Go to INS office you ve submitted your files and fillout that separate paper and drop (I don't know if all INS offices have this option), this will fasten your change of address. Then Send AR11 to Kentucky itself.

2- Make a request letter that shows location your apps pending, and send AR11 along with it to Kentuky. Then Kentucky will make a request to your local office.
