I-485 SOP : What is my case status at USCIS?

I would appeciate your Inputs
After going through I-485 SOP (Standard Operating Procedure ) I am very curious to find out, Can I speculate / guess , What is my case status at TSC USCIS?
Here are the important steps in I-485 SOP -
1. Mailroom, 2. INS File review, 3.CIS /G-325A Processing, 4. Data Entry,
5. File Maintenance , 6. Workload Distribution , 7. Adjudications
Now,
Final processing at Adjudication step needs inputs from Inter-Agency Records Checks and Required Initial Evidence. Inter-Agency Records check includes CIA Records Checks, FBI Name check, Expediated Name Check, FBI Record Check and then FBI Finger Print Notice. Therefore the FP Notices to customer is sent when his file is close to adjudication and then Required Intial Evidence generates REF for any missing / docs discrepancy in customer documents that could be Medical , W2/Bank Statemt or Letter of Employment etc...etc.

In conclusion : Can I say if FBI name check is OK then file is very close to adjudication.

Let me know if I am missing anything.

i recd approval for I485 on 03/18/05 and RFE for my souse and kids.
