I-485 Request for Evidence: how much of a delay does this add?

I am applying for a GC in EB2 category with my wife and daughter as dependents. My GC and my daughter's have just arrived, but my wife's application is being held up on a request for evidence relating to some financial assistance she has received from the California Department of Rehabilitation. Based on what I've read about the determination of the likelihood of an applicant becoming a charge of the state, I'm really not too concerned about this (the funding was non-cash, time-limited and for the purpose of helping her rejoin the workforce), but it is a very annoying delay. Has anybody hit this kind of thing before? How much delay does it tend to introduce to the process?
 
I had RFE before.the sooner you turn them in,the sooner your case moves on. If you turn in later than the deadline,its not good for your case. Try to gather everything and turn them in ASAP,they will only move on with your case when they have what they ask for
