Hi Guys,

My application got returned today. The reason stated was that the application was not complete and items like "Country", "Last Name" etc were not filled. They only returned pages 2, 3, 4 of the I-485 application, sealed medical report and the check. In a separate mail, they also returned the supporting documents (Approval copy of I-130, Birth Certificate, copies of passport, I-94, AP, Affidavit of support & Bio info etc) stating this was not required.

I did keep a copy of I-485 when I the filed the application. I double checked and found that everything is in order. Not sure what happened. Did they loose a page???

1) Did anyone had similar issue?
2) Do I resent the supporting documentation? atleast approval copy of I-130 and Birth certificate?
3) Do I send the photos again?

I am super pissed - :(

Appreciate your time guys. Any input is much appreciated

I would just file everything again, after giving it another once over to make sure you didn't make any mistakes. Annoying, but it just sounds like a bit of bad luck to me.

my 2 cents...

This time, pls make sure that you staple the actual pages of a particular form and then use heavy paper clips or binding clips to stack them together with other forms in the same package. No loose papers...in this case

It's the paper clips.....stupid...

Hi...

This is the quickest rejection notice I have ever seen or heard of from USCIS. You might be the new record holder for a rejection of AOS...

It is the paper clips and other secure clips which ensure that your application is not lost or misplaced by the always neurotic officers at USCIS...;) So, it is securing your application...stupid....not the economy this time...

Simple solution: copy all the NOA and rejection notice, complete a new application form, provide all evidence which is required and mail it to USCIS. Ensure that your application form is secured and is not going to get lost, re-apply and shell out new money and send the same medical which USCIS returned to you because it is valid (only if you haven't opened it)...:(

As such, it is the paper clips or fasten acco clip....... stupid...:)

Yo Al,

Watch your lanuage there bud !!! You may do more harm than good.
I sent my I-130 same way as I did my I-485. No issues there. S**t happens.... You live and learn..

Yeah I don't understand, why the need to call someone stupid? I think the last thing this guy needs is someone calling him stupid.
