I-485 receipt wording mystery

I got my receipts yesterday for I-485 filed on 17th august at TSC. Surprisingly the receipt shows the receipt day as 15th Aug ( the day I posted, not the day it was received i.e 17th Aug as per USPS). Probably they just look for postmark date.

I am baffled that both the notices read " Adjustment as direct beneficiary of immigrant petition". Is this thing OK. I mean I am the primary applicant so its fine for me but my wife shouldn't it say somethings different? Is thsi a mistake or this is the normal wording of USCIS receipt.

Again, the receipt does not mention any priority date or clarifies which I-140 petition is it linked to ( I have 2 I-140 filed, EB1-EA is approved while NIW is still pending). How can I make sure that it is linked to the approved EB1-EA petition? Can anyone help me in clarifying this mystery.

Thanks

1. your wife's should be derivative applicant.

2. check your approval notices of NIW and EB1. You will have beneficiary name, You will also find A# along with your name. Check the I-485s. which one is matching.

My I-140 approval notice does nto have any A#. This is the first time I am seeing any A# in my 485 receipt.

Just called an IO to get insights. She was very nice and patient and could locate my cases but still could not tell me which I-140 it has been linked to. She told me that I will have to wait till the interview date when I can ask the AO about that. Don't know if that is the only way? Also regarding the wordings she told me this is correct and my wife will get benefit of her 485 filed along with me so she is direct beneficiary of that while I am direct beneficiary for my 485. Guys, does it make sense and can I trust her words and just sit back till the dice rolls again.

Your wife's receipt should say 'derivative' as other suggested. Did the IO tell you what is the A# for your approved I-140?

No she didn't tell me the A# from my approved I-140. I do have it on the receipt notice for 485 but not anywhere else in other notices etc
