I-485 Receipt Tracker for MD Aug 16 and after

Thanks man.

What an expeirence. I called on Oct.17 for the first time. My case was entered into the system on Oct.15. But the first male IIO I talked with told me that "check back in 30 days. Case not in system yet". Now I think he didn\'t really bother to check the system for me before he gave that standard BS. First you have to be lucky to get through the busy line, then you have to pray again to talk with a nice IIO. What a nightmare!
 
MD - August 10th, ND - October12th

Thanks for the info guys ... I called the IIO and was told that my case is in their system. When asked about any mailing delay, the officer said that there shouldn\'t be any big mailing delay and said that my attorney shoud be receiving the receipt notice very soon (probably this week).

I have to add that, the officer was very nice and helpful and I got the IIO line in around 15 attempts (approx 2 minutes) .... Got to keep trying I guess :)

One question - I asked her how long the EAD is taking and she said it would be another 90 days. Is that true ? Do you know how long EADs are taking these days ?
 
MD 8/24 ND 10/16 Received the I485 Receipts

Okay finally received 485 receipt photocopy from my lawyers.
MD: 8/24/2001
Mail RD: 8/27/2001
RD : 10/16/2001
Papers reached lawyer: 10/20/2001
 
MD 08/17, checks cashed on 10/19

I-485 papers were mailed to VSC on 08/17/01. Checks were cashed on 10/19. Attorney has received the receipt notice and mailed it to me.
