how long is going to take to get receipt or EAD card after check cashed?

i am not sure of the date. its either the 2nd or the 3rd august. hope to get the receipt and EAD/AP soon. they wud have opened my packet some time last week since the checks got cleared monday.

Just now I called IIO

He took my Last Name, Date of Birth and First Name

Mailing Date : 08/02/2001
Receipt Date : 08/06/2001
Notice Date : 09/26/2001

He said the receipt has been send today only.

It gives us some hope that they are atleast working on cases. I hope i should get my receipt in another week or two at the most.

I485 mailed out 7/23/01 Receipt on 8/25/01

My lawyer mailed my I485 papers on 7/23/01,I received my receipt yesterday 8/25/01...........So nothing to worry..seems like there is a weeks delay after that Sep\'11 incident.

she said they just got the receipt today.and she gave me my EAC#.
Anybody knows that how long I can get my EAD card?
