Hi Guys,

My I-485 received 02/09/2004 at vermont SC, still no FP. I just changed my address recently, I am worried that I might missed the notice. I already called CIS to change my address. My CIS online status show no sign of FP, and my lawyer has not received any FP notice neither. If my FP notice letter sent out, is my lawyer suppose to get a copy as well?

Any info is appreciate..

Thank you very much,BB

Did you receive a confirmation letter from CIS after you changed your address with them?
Dont worry about the FP. Your lawyer will get a copy. You can use that to appear for FP. Just hang in there. You will soon get your notification.

read this:

Chat User : My I-140 got approved. I-485 is pending for more than eight months and I still did not get a call for fingerprints. When can I expect the same?

Attorney Murthy : Processing times depend on the various service centers. The present USCIS policy is not to call a person for fingerprinting until they are ready to review and approve the I-485. So it could take up to 2 years or longer for the FPs under the present policy of not having to waste government resources repeatedly to obtain the same person over and over again
