I-485 Question

hey all,
has anyone mailed their applications to the PO Box address and then there was no one to sign for the application? Is it even necessary to send the application by certified mail?

I sent my by regular mail, not even certified and had no problem them receiving my application.

for the people that applied at SRC, what is the average wait time for a receipt notice? I have been been ganging up on the post box like almost everyday for the past 2 weeks and nothing. . IS 2 weeks too short to receive a receipt notice?

I applied in September last year and got my receipt notice 13 days later, I got my fingerprint appointment in December and completed them in January, so I am waiting for the decision now. Yes it was kind slow compared to other fellows, give it a couple of days, if you feel like the receipt got lost you can call them to check.

DON;T get stress buddy..everything is ok..you have a receipt with a code or numbers..you can check the updates on internet...in their website..everything is gonna be alright..

hey to all,
i sent in my 485 and got a code 3 biometrics letter. i searched the forums and read all the documents that were to be sent in and think that i have sent in everything all at once. i am at the texas Office. does it have to take the 4.5months that they say or is it possible that they could be faster once I get done with the biometrics next week? anyone had experience with TSC where they happened faster than the times they post online? o, and by the way, what exactly does code 3 mean?
