I-485 Processing Date

officially Processing July 1,2000 means that they are going to notify their processing times as 7/1/2000 for I-485 as of 31st May\'2001.
But they have already started july\'2000 cases as early as 20th May\'2001 based on approvals notified in this site by friends around 22nd May\'2001.
Hope they start doing August\'2000 atleast by june\'15 and Sep\'2000 by end of month.
This is my prediction.
In the immigration tracker friends with PD between 4/99 and 6/99 have been found approved.

I think you got the answer for this question yesterday. Why you are beleiving your lawyer so strngly, in many times attorneys could be wrong. INS process cases by Receipt Date(Actually it is ND) order, in that order your case has to be current. if not your case will be pickup on a later date whenever your PD is become current.

I agree with your prediction. But ..
Althose who applied for I-485 in May, June, July had their ND less than 12 days from RD. whereas for those applied in Aug had their ND one month after RD.
My feeling is once VSC starts Aug 00 cases I think they should start Sep cases in a week.
But again as you know it could this month or next year this month.

Why I believe?? because people with RD of 01/2000 are getting approvals only now, yesterday my friend got his approval, his
PD is 02/99 and ND is 01/2000, I am sure many people with ND of NOV,DEC99 and Jan/Feb/Mar00 are still waiting.
you are taking about JULY/AUGUST and even your OCtober 2000 approvals. Ofcourse they are all some random cases.
my case is current from the day I filed my 485 some 15 months ago. Anyway it is not neigther you or me to decide which file to be processed first, I just wanted to write my observation. Everybody wants to see their ND to be processed now, they don\'t even want to hear varied opinions. Hey my guess is as good as anyone else\'s.
