I - 485 postal issue

Dear friends

I got every thing st and mailed I-485 to USCIS on 14th. But the problem now is " I did't check on waiver of signature" in express mail. The status indicates that they tried to deliver but no one to sign so they will try tomorrow and ...5 b days, if noone recieve's it they are going to send me back. I am in lot of tension now.....Do you know any thing that they will sign it for the mail....plz answer iommediately...I am in lot of tension.....

Well, take a look at the Sept VB. If you missed this chance, maybe you will need to wait for years before you can refile. (Depends on which catergory you are in).

If I were you, I will fly to NSC to file it in person.
 
Did you try talking to the mail carrier and see if you could waive the signature AFTER sending it out?

Another option is, send another packet via sameday delivery mail, but this time waive the signature required.

But if you do this, and if the first packet also reaches them, will they end up returning one packet? Or will they cash checks in both the packets? Or will they reject both the packets????
These questions arise even if you fly to NSC and hand deliver your applications.
 
this is not an issue. USCIS picks up the mail from USPS everyday. yours should already be reached by now. it happend to me the same.
