Hello,

I need some advice please. We went to Infopass last week and the lady told us that my husband's case was recently given to an adjudicating supervisor (last monday July21). What does this mean? Is this good or bad? How long does it take to get an answer?

Good sign and you will hear a decision within 30 days.

Thank you for your respone mmed.
Can you tell me why didn't the officer who had the case approve it? Why did it go to a supervisor

Officer, supervisor and adjudicator are internal regulations in the USCIS and every one, to the best of my knowledge, has his/her rule in the process and to keep their jobs going must have some cases to revise. Leave this part to the USCIS and take care of your part (application, paper work, fees .....etc) and sooner or later you will hear a decision and actually this is what you want to know, not the internal USCIS regulations.
