I-485 Pending Since November 2002

Dear All

My I-485 is pending with CSC since Nov. 2002

WAC 03-038-XXXXX

Called 1800 number two times. Finally got 2 emails stating "We responded to you inquiry on October 28,2004. If you have not received any notice within 30 days from this date please call 1800xxxxxxx....."

What does this mean???? Any Ideas??

my WAC is also 03-038 (and the same WAC for 2 dependants)

called 1-800 number five times (waited 30 days every time),
sent faxes 4 times (also waited 30 days)
sent letter to senator
talked to congressman

absolutely no results! :(
 
I do not know what CSC has against a dozen or so 2002 cases left behind.
I have faxed 5 letters + 1 email to CSC, 3 (faxes + email) to FBI for name check status inquiry, 1 email to DHS ombudsman so far and counting more every week.

Last monday called 1-800 number the guy kept talking shit and telling me give us some more time (he won't specify how much more and won't tell me anything else).

ZERO responses so far......

This means, very soon you will get a letter from BCIS saying your case has been assigned to an officer and please allow sufficient time for proper adjudication.

That what happened to me after initiating 1-800 inquiry.

my LUD: 11/16/02 -> 4/2/04->5/6/04->8/6/04->8/25/04->10/27/04
4/2/04 status: on April 1 2004 the document we made on basis of approval or registration ...blah blah blah...was mailed directly to the person to whom issued

5/6/04 : RFE received

8/6/04 : we responded to your request for more information

8/25/04 : status went back to RFE received on May 6 2004

10/27/04 : mass LUD update, status still "FRE received"

WAC03-04XXXXXXXX seem super slow!

As waiting-for-gc said, not sure whats up with cases from this time period?

Would such inefficiency ever be tolerated in a corporate workplace???

Last LUD change: Nov 10 2004: message changed to : On xxx we responded to you request for more information............" Still waiting to find out what this means
