My wife was granted asylum and petitioned me through i-730 and I got approved in 2011.
So after 1 year after my wife's approval we sent her i-485 application in Jan 2012.
And my i-485 application was sent in Jul 2012.
We are now still waiting for the approval!
The medical report and biometrics of my wife and I were all done, on time.
Her case was updated one time in Jun 2012 saying the fee was accepted.
But my case hasn't got any LUD since the reception.
Overall, my wife's case is pending for 14 months and mine is pending for 8 months as of now.
Please could someone help me with this frustrating situation.
I feel we can not just do nothing but waiting like this.
Anyone has any idea about why am I waiting for this long and receiving nothing from USCIS?
