I-485 pending, Birth Certificate left back home. Please help!

Guys,

Please help. I left my Birth Certificate back home.. when filed I-485, I used the certified copy which was sent to me by my parents.

QUESTION: when I go for my interview will I need the original?? I cannot travel, and I'm afraid if my parents send the original it'll get lost in mail... what should I do??

------- BCIS only needs the copies so don’t worry, relax!!! and BCIS checks these documents only when at final stage when they are going to approve I-485, they are not going to ask for original BC(99%)

---- Why are you afraid? Ask them to send by registered mail or by DHL or FedEx they should keep 1-2 copies with them because if you have copy you can again get the duplicate BC showing the copy
