I-485 pending 3 years

My I-485 was filed 3 year ago, and I had my third time finger print done on September 2003, and my EAD will be renewed for the fourth time. I called the National Service Center many times, they just sent the request to Texas Center, still no response. I don't know if my case is the only one left behind. Do you know anyone else waited this long and still pending? I am really frustrated. Any information and advice is greatly appreciated.

xiaoshan,

Did you try to contact any Senator/Congressman? Your case is before the published processing time, so surely you can get help from them.

Good luck!!

You're not alone

Hey XIAOSHAN you should contact your Local Congressman to get help with this.
The two oldest cases pending in this forum were :
TAKEANUMBER I-485 RD 10/2000
Me I-485 RD 09/2000
and Now you I-485 RD 11/2000.
Me and takeanumber just found out that our files were lost at TSC we are in the process of the RECONSTRUCTION of our cases.
Email your Congressman and Hopefully they will investigate about your case.

Take care.

No Responses from BCIS

I'll keep you guys posted if I hear anything from BCIS or Senator's office. My frustration is on this total indifference from TSC.

Thank you guys for the advice. I think I might try to contact the congressman. Do you have a sample letter to share? I'd like to know how to write to the congressman.

Also I heard someone suggest that you can sue the TSC, or write a letter to TSC and state that if they do not response within certain days, you will file a lawsuit. It may push them to look at your case. How effective is this? Does anybody knows?

Thanks again.

There is no point in just waiting for approvals that haven't come in over 2+ years. Waiting patiently is obviously not the answer. We have to take steps to fight for our approval!

If you haven't done so already, please consider joining us in our fight for speedier approvals. All you need to do is send out a couple of faxes, to your congressman to join our voices in calling for faster processing of 485's. This campaign is already producing results, that are tangible and recorded in some of the other threads on this forum. Please help in helping yourself out of this misery. Support the FAX CAMPAIGN. (The link is available at the bottom of this post in my signature). What do you have to lose?
