Hi! My question is that I was in the military and now i am applying green card through marriage. Do i have to show or proof that i was military before? i have a document that proofs i left the military service. so should i attach that document to my application?
 
Answer "Yes", explain your military experience on a separate sheet of paper and attach copy of that proof.

i am from turkey and we have mandatory military duty. i had been in turkish military for 1 year but the thing is that in my country if you finish university, you can join the army as a lieutenant. so in the turkish military i was a lieutenant. that why i ask if i have to proof my military duty.
 
Just attach the same explanation and a copy of your discharge papers. I do not see this being an issue whatsoever for your AOS.
